The sky remained clear for most part after the shallow fog in morning but chilly winds swept the capital right through the day.
While the maximum temperature was recorded at 19 deg C, up from yesterday's temperature by 2.4 degrees, the minimum temperature today dipped to 6.3 deg C, a degree below the normal, the MeT department said.
The maximum was recorded at 16.6 deg C yesterday, four degrees below normal. The minimum had remained at 9.2 deg C, two degrees above normal.
The Weather office has forecast mainly clear sky with mist or fog in the morning for tomorrow.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 19 and seven deg C," it said.
