Folk instruments exhibition by RSS inaugurated in Jaipur

A two-day exhibition on Indian traditional folk instruments organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was today unveiled at Jamdoli here.

As many as 108 types of folk musical instruments were showcased in the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Madhu Bhatt Tailang of Rajasthan University.

The exhibition will remain open on Saturday as well.

Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sharirik Shikshan Pramuk of the RSS, Jagdish Prasad said that there are over one lakh volunteer Ghosh Vadaks (Band players) in the country.

Band was included in the RSS in the year the organisation was established in Nagpur in 1925.

He said that RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat will be attending Swar Govindam 2017 programme on November 5.
