The meeting will be held on June 9 and 10, former BJP MP Rattan Lal Kataria said here today.

He accused the UPA-II of failing to keep its promise of bringing down prices of essential commodities in 100 days of coming to power as rates have gone up by 100 to 300 per cent.

"Despite godowns overflowing with bumper crop, the poor are not getting enough food... It is a mockery," he said.

The meeting will be addressed by party president Nitin Gadkari and other senior BJP leaders including Rajnath Singh, M M Joshi and Venkaiah Naidu.
