Vigilance team today arrested Pithoragarh chief food inspector for taking bribe from a confectioner to renew license of his shop.
"Archna Sagar, chief food inspector of Pithoragarh was arrested from her office by a vigilance team while taking Rs 20,000 bribe from the complaint Jagdish prajapati for renewing his confectionery license," SP Vigilance (Kumaon region) Ashok Bhatt said.
