Foodco Trading sees Rs 150 cr sales this year in India

UAE-based Foodco Trading Company, which has launched its premium energy drink 'Moto' here, is expecting sales of Rs 150 crore this year.

The company, which is planning to invest USD 5 million in branding/marketing of its energy drink is aiming to be a formidable competitor in the segment.

Besides the company, which is targeting the age group between 18 and 35 for its energy drink, is also planning to set up a manufacturing unit in India.

"Presently we are importing from the UAE. We have plans to set up a base in India as the volumes pick up," said a Foodco Trading Company official.
 

Foodco Trading Company sells its premium energy drink Moto in 34 countries including India.

"We have established a full chain here pan India. Now we have a distribution network of 250 dealers and we would extend our reach here," he added.

The company has partnered here with Aish Adventures as its local partner.
