Football match organised in Tihar jail

A football match between teams of Indian Football Federation led by Baichung Bhutia and Tihar Eleven was today held at Tihar prison.

Indian Football Federation won the match by 3-0.

The match was held to create awareness about the sports among the prisoners, said Sunil Gupta, spokesperson of Tihar Jail.

Although Indian Football Federation scored 3 goals, Tihar Eleven didn't succeed to score any goal.

"It doesn't matter whether anybody wins match or not. The experience of playing match was very good. I fully enjoyed the match," Bhutia said after playing match.

Certificates were distributed among members of winning team while momentums were also given to the members of both teams.
