For literature enthusiasts, the coming few months have much to offer in a bouquet of festivals dedicated to everything related to books and reading.
Travel site Skyscanner has now compiled a list of six literary extravaganzas coming up in the next five months ranging from the renowned Jaipur Literature festival to the Kochi International Book festival among others.
"Indians have become more experimental when it comes to travel and have started combining their holidays with various festivals - most popular being music and food," said Kavitha Gnanamurthy, Senior Marketing Manager, Skyscanner India.

"Increasingly, Literature festivals are picking up momentum in India with over 60 festivals organised across the country every year," she said.
The 5th Mumbai International Literary festival Tata Literature Live! runs from October 30 to November 2 with and this year's event will have a range of high profile speakers ranging from Booker Prize winners Ben Okri and Anne Enright to Gulzar, Javed Akhtar, Chetan Bhagat and Shashi Tharoor.
Skyscanner says the festival offers people a new excuse to visit Mumbai.
Up next month is the Kochi International Book festival, scheduled to hold its 18th session from November 29 to December 8.
"The festival will have literary and art competitions, poet meets, cultural evenings, literary workshops, book launches and literary encounters. Take a promenade walk along Marine Drive or a boat ride along the backwater lagoons," says the site.
