Force India regained fifth position in the team standings with a double points finish in the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix here today.

A late charge from Sergio Perez plus a last lap slip-up from McLaren's Kevin Magnussen ensure the Mexican driver cross the finishing line in seventh place.

Perez started 15th on the grid and got past his teammate Nico Hulkenberg on the 60th and final lap besides Kimi Raikkonen in the Ferrari and Magnussen. Hulkenberg, who started 13th on the grid, finished ninth.

Eight points from night race means Force India have overtaken McLaren to be fifth with a record 117 points. McLaren are on 111.
