Former Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh today said some forces "inimical" to development and peace are spreading misleading allegations against the BJP-PDP alliance.
"The forces inimical to the development and peace in the state are trying to mislead the people by indulging in false propaganda and unfounded allegations in the state," he claimed.
He said corruption was at its lowest ebb and development was at its peak during the BJP-PDP rule, urging people not to be misled by propaganda of "vested interests".
The BJP MLA from Billawar, who is on a three-day tour of the constituency, asked the district administration to identify land for setting up a Nursing college here and also directed revenue authorities to hold camps for on-the-spot distribution of income certificates to applicants.
