The Manipur unit of CPI today alleged central security forces have violated all laws in the state in the name of searching insurgents in the aftermath of the June 4 ambush in Chandel district.
Addressing a press conference at Irawat Bhavan here CPI state secretary Dr M Nara Singh accused the BJP-led NDA government for creating a complex situation in the state and strongly condemned the comments of Defence Minister who termed the post ambush operation as "search and destroy", which he said would have more negative impact in future.
Singh also pointed out that Mizoram was an example where through political dialogue, it has become a peaceful and developed state.
