Forensic team visits BSP MP's house

A team of ballistic and forensic experts today visited BSP MP Narendra Kashyap's home and examined the spot where his daughter-in-law was found dead, police said.

Himanshi (29) was on April 6 found dead with a bullet injury on her head at Kashyap's Sanjay Nagar residence here.

DSP Manish Mishra said a four-member team from a Lucknow- based forensic laboratory visited Kashyap's home and examined the bathroom, where Himanshi was found lying in a pool of blood, and other areas of the house. They will submit a report within 10 days, he said.

Kashyap, his wife Devendri Devi and son Sagar were arrested on April 8 in connection with the death. Currently, they are in 14-day judicial custody.
