A forest department employee was today allegedly shot dead by some unidentified men in the border area of Gurdaspur district, police said.
Arjun Masih, a resident of Maman village, was fired at by the miscreants on the Kalanaur-Dera Baba Nanak road, leading to his death on the spot, they said.
A case has been registered in this regard while the further probes are on, police added.
