A Forest Ranger was run over by a train today while he was trying to board it at Amroha railway station.
59-year-old Prem Prakash Singh, Forest Ranger of Amroha, was returning home when the mishap took place, police said.
ADM Akmal Akhtar said that Singh was trying to board moving Kashi Vishwanath express when he lost grip and slipped into the space between the train and station.

Singh's post mortem examination has been conducted and his family has been informed, the ADM said.
