The tour began from Bahadurgarh town located on the Delhi and Haryana border, about 45 km from here.

Titled as 'Kranti Yatra', led by Arvind Kejriwal and Gopal Rai, the tour is meant to drum up support for its July 25 indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in Delhi in protest against UPA-led Central government.

The tour started with a public meeting at Chhotu Ram Dharamshala here.

While addressing the gathering, Kejriwal alleged that the union government was trying to protect its 15 ministers, against whom "there were several allegations."

"Besides, 162 MPs were such ones against whom many criminal cases were pending in several courts," he claimed.

"These are the ministers who actually don't want the strong Jan Lokpal bill, in order to protect themselves from going to jails. These tainted ministers would have been in jails had the Lokpal bill been passed last year," he said.

Kejriwal demanded that the union government should constitute a special investigation team to probe into the allegations levelled against the ministers, and a stern action should be taken against those found guilty.

Holding the "tainted ministers" responsible for the rising inflation, he said public was facing difficulty in earning their livelihood due to "anti-public" policies framed by the ministers to serve their vested interest.
