Police officials and ministerial staff posted at Rajasthan police headquarters can no longer wear jeans, T-shirts or sports shoes and have to be attired in formals while on duty.
An order issued today by ADG Administration NRK Reddy prohibits policemen and other staff like clerks and assistants from wearing sports shoes, t-shirt, jeans or any casual wear on duty.
Police officials will have to be dressed in uniform on Mondays and only formal dress and shoes on other working days.
Ministerial staff will have to be in formal attire on all working days, according to the order.
