Former AIADMK Minister Gokula Indira's brother died in a car accident near Okkur in this district, police said today.
The mishap occurred when Devapandi, the AIADMK leader's brother, was proceeding from Ramanathapuram to Tiruchi and the car turned turtle after the driver lost control of the vehicle, they said.
While Devapandi died on the spot, the driver Baskar and his friend Mani suffered minor injuries, police added.
