Former Animal Husbandry Director nominated to Raj wildlife

Rajasthan Government has nominated Ashwani Kumar Purohit, former Director of Animal Husbandry, as an ex-officio member of the Rajasthan State Wildlife Welfare Board.

Purhoit's term would be for three years and he would be dealing with issues related to wildlife in the state, according to an official statement here today.

Two others -- Ram Ratan Vishnoi of Bikaner and Govind Yadav of Jaipur -- were also nominated as ex-officio members of the wildlife welfare board.
