The young leaders met at the Congress office here, deliberated upon the prevailing political situation and resolved to oust the "instable" BJP government and root out caste politics.
Dr Ajay Singh (son of N Dharam Singh who headed the Congress-JDS coalition), Kailasnath Patil (son of late Veerendra Patil), Dinesh Gundu Rao, MLA, (son of late R Gundu Rao), Kumar Bangarappa (late S Bangarappa), Mamatha Nicchani (daughter of late Ramakrishna Hegde) and Mahima Patel (son of late J H Patel) attended the meeting.
While Dharam Singh, Veerendra Patil, Bangarappa and Gundu Rao headed the Congress ministry, Hegde and Patel belonged to the Janata Parivar.
Ajay Singh is associated with Youth Congress activities and Dinesh Gundu Rao is a four-time MLA.
Assembly polls are due in May next year in the state.
