Former bureaucrat Sanjay Kothari was today appointed chairman of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), the government's head-hunter.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved his appointment to the post for three years, said an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
He has replaced Ajit Seth, former Cabinet Secretary, who was was last year appointed to the post.

PESB is entrusted with selection and placement of the posts of chairman, managing director or chairman-cum-managing director and functional director of central public sector enterprises, among others.
