The 19-year-old Bangladeshi girl, rescued last month from a house near here where she was being illegally kept for prostitution, has identified 12 persons, including a former physiotherapist of Kerala cricket team, as the ones who had exploited her.

The physiotherapist, Dilip Singh, is the 10th accused in the case, police sources said. Singh, along with two others, had allegedly sexually exploited her in a flat in Thrikakkara, police said.

An identification parade was held here yesterday, in which the girl identified the 12 accused.

Three persons were arrested when the girl was rescued on January 31. Subsequently nine others were arrested.

The girl, who hails from Jessore district of Bangladesh, was offered some job in India and brought to Kolkata on December 17 last year. She worked for a while in Kolkata and Mumbai and was brought to Kerala with a promise of a job in a dance bar.

She was kept illegally in a house at nearby Aluva by the three accused, including a woman, for immoral trafficking.
