Former Maha minister asks Governor to visit Javkheda

Former Minister of Maharashtra for EGS and Advisor of Nalanda Social Media, Nitin Raut today requested Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao to visit Ahmednagar district where the gruesome Dalit killings took place last week.

Raut met the Governor at Raj Bhavan and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits responsible for the killing of three persons from a Dalit family at Javkheda in Pathardi taluka of Ahmednagar district.

Raut, who was accompanied by the Working President of Nalanda Social Media, Uttamrao Gaikwad and others requested the Governor to pay a visit to the site of the gruesome killings, a Raj Bhawan spokesperson said.
 

He also demanded setting of fast track court to run the trial in the case and called for long term measures to avoid recurrence of such incidents.

On October 21, a day after the killings, bodies of three members, one of them decapitated were found dumped in a dry well in Javkheda village.
