Former MLA and BJP leader Brijesh Misra 'Saurabh' and 14 of his supporters were arrested here today by police on charges of obstructing government work and attacking some people.
The action followed after a case was registered against them for creating a ruckus during a meeting of the SP MLA from Sadar constituency at Sandwa Chandrika yesterday.
Misra and his supporters also blocked road traffic and clashed with police when they tried to disperse them.
The ex-MLA and his supporters were arrested on charges of obstructing government work and attacking some people, police said.
