Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today appointed former Madhya Pradesh High Court chief Justice Syed Rafat Alam as Chairman of UP State Human Rights Commission.
Alam has been appointed as Chairman of UPSHRC for the period of five years or up to 70 years of age, a release issued by Raj Bhawan said here.
Alam was the former Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court.
