Former Rajya Sabha MP Manmohan Mathur passed away this evening due to a massive stroke, family sources said.
He was 68 and survived by two sons, a daughter and wife.
Mathur collapsed all of a sudden while riding a scooter. His wife and and granddaughter were returning after attending a social function when the incident took place. He was declared dead in the hospital here.

Born in Bhawanipatna, Mathur became MLA from Koksara assembly constituency of Kalahandi from 1980-85 representing Congress and was a Rajya Sabha Member from 1988 to 1994.
He was also an active member of Kalahandi Cricket club.
