A former Member of Parliament allegedly received a phone call from an unknown person who threatened to kill him, besides malicious posts on his Facebook wall with an intention of tarnishing his image.
Nephew of Nihal Chand, the former Sriganganagar MP, lodged an FIR in this regard yesterday, police said.
The call was made on his landline number last week, they said, adding that the matter is being investigated.
