Former Mumbai Ranji Trophy cricketer Ranjan Baindoor passed away at his residence here today following a massive heart attack.
Baindoor, an off spinner who could also bat lower down the order, died aged 61 and was a former secretary of Tata Sports Club, said his former teammate Ravi Thakkar.
"He was scheduled to go for an angiography today morning, had gone to the toilet after having a cup of coffee. His wife was waiting for him to come out, but as he did not do so after 15 minutes, felt something was wrong. He, apparently, had collapsed inside," Thakkar said.
