Chief Minister of Puducherry, N Rangasamy paid homage to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on the occasiion of her 30th death anniversary today.
Speaker V Sabapathy, Ministers, legislators, officials and freedom fighters were among those who paid homage at the statue of the leader at Ellaipillaichavady junction here.
Chief Minister and others stood in silence for a couple of minutes in memory of the former Prime Minister.
A delegation of the opposition Congress led by the party president A V Subramanian garlanded the statue of Indira Gandhi. Among those who were present included the former Central Minister and AICC General Secretary for north eastern States V.Narayanasamy and legislators of the party.
