Former secretary of Punjab unit of Congress Bhupinder Singh Bittu today joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Besides him, former Deputy Advocate General of Punjab Gulshan Sharma has also joined AAP, the party said in a release.
Bittu, who contested Khadoor Sahib bye-election as an independent candidate in February 2016 and bagged 18,000 votes, joined AAP here in presence of the party's state convener Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, it said.

Welcoming Bittu and Gulshan into the party fold, Ghuggi said, "The people are fed up with the traditional political parties and were joining AAP to weed out corruption, unemployment, drug menace and other problems from Punjab.
