Former Railway cricketer no more

Former Railway spinner Bistu Sanyal has passed away at the age of 65.

Condoling his demise, the Cricket Association of Bengal in a statement said Sanyal was a left arm orthodox spinner and represented Taltala Institute for eight years.

Sanyal, who died yesterday, also played for Eastern railway for more than a decade.

"We convey our condolence to the bereaved family," the CAB said.
