Cab aggregator Ola has launched a new initiative to offer its customers an opportunity to interact with ex-servicemen to get a first-hand account of their days in the armed forces.
Ola runs a 'Ola Sainik' programme in association with the The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) under the Ministry of Defence to onboard ex-servicemen as driver partners on its platform.
"Customers opting for Ola Share from August 14 to August 16, 2017, will get an opportunity to ride with ex-servicemen and interact with them during their ride," Ola said in a statement.

Sodexo partners IDFC Bank, RuPay for 'Premium Pass' * Sodexo, which provides meal vouchers, has launched a digital employee gifting solution -- Sodexo Premium Pass -- in partnership with IDFC bank and National Payments Corporation of India's (NPCI) RuPay.
The solution will be available in two variants - 'Premium Pass - Celebrations' (occasion based) and 'Premium Pass - Rewards' for ongoing employee recognition programmes.
"The cards will be accepted at over two million retail outlets and over 90,000 online merchants on the RuPay network. We will target our three million existing consumers to begin with," Sodexo BRS India CEO Stephane Michelin said.

Intellect Design Arena swings into profit in Q1 * IT firm Intellect Design Arena today said it posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 73.80 lakh for the June 2017 quarter as compared to a loss of Rs 6.28 crore in the year-ago period.
The Chennai-based firm saw revenue from operations grow to Rs 241.16 crore in the reported quarter from Rs 205.80 crore in the year-ago period.
