Former national general secretary of SP Trilok Tyagi, along with nearly 100 supporters, today left the party alleging that it was being run like a private limited company.

Tyagi said the Samajwadi Party was being run like a private limited company by its chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. There was no space for genuine and common workers.

He claimed that the party was facing resentment within its rank over ticket distribution for the Lok Sabha polls.

Prominent among others who left the party are Samajwadi Lohiya Vahini's former national secretary Amit Tyagi, Ghaziabad district vice president OD Tyagi.

Trilok Tyagi said the Samajwadi Party-led Uttar Pradesh government had failed to deliver promises made to the people before the last Assembly elections. Tyagi holds a good command in Western UP.
