Yuvraj Singh's father arrested over a family brawl case

Yograj Singh's sister and her family had a scuffle with their neighbour over parking last night, following which Singh was booked on various charges

Former Test cricketer Yograj Singh and father of Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh, was arrested by the Haryana police today in connection with a family brawl case, police said.

The cricketer-turned-actor had been arrested from Panchkula today along with another person after a case under various sections of the IPC was registered against him, Panchkula's Deputy Commissioner of Police Rahul Sharma said.

Yograj's sister and her family had a scuffle with their neighbour over parking last night, following which Singh was booked on various charges including trespassing and criminal intimidation in connection with the incident, he said.

The 56-year-old had recently undergone a surgery to remove a throat tumour in the United States.
 
Yograj did a cameo in the Milkha Singh's biopic 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', last year.
