Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today offered prayers at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at nearby Tirumala and tonsured his head.
Panneerselvam, Finance Minister in the J Jayalalithaa led AIADMK government, arrived on the hills last night and offered prayers at the hill temple this morning, temple sources said.
After worship, Panneerselvam was presented with a silk cloth and "prasadams" by the temple management.
