Ashfaq Mohammad Khan, father of former Union minister Arif Mohammad Khan, died at a private hospital in New Delhi today.
Ashfaq, a freedom fighter, was 93 years old and had been suffering from cancer.
He was admitted to the hospital a couple of days ago, his family members said.

He is survived by three sons and three daughters.
His body was laid to rest at his native village Barwala in Bulandshahr district.
