Fortis to provide emergency medical care at Formula 1

Fortis Healthcare Limited will provide emergency medical care at Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix 2013 beginning tomorrow at the Buddh International Circuit here.

"Five critical care ambulances will be on standby at the circuit on event days till October 27," Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Noida, Sukhmeet Sandhu said.

Fortis, Noida, has also readied a helipad so that patients may be air-lifted from the circuit to the hospital, he said.

The hospital has set up a trauma centre, burns unit and isolation wards which may be required in case of an emergency, HOD, Emergency and Trauma, Dina J Shah, said.
