The Haryana government will organise a fortnight-long cleanliness drive under 'Swachh Bharat Mission' in all its offices and buildings from tomorrow.

"The officials have been instructed to take 'swachhta' pledge and upload photographs of the pledge-taking ceremony and activities on the portal swachhbharat.Mygov.In," an official spokesperson said today.

Activities to be undertaken under the drive include weeding out of old files as per 'File Retention Schedule', cleaning corridors, toilets, canteens and minor repairs of office furniture, almirahs and tables.

All officials have been told to keep their surroundings in order, including proper tagging and indexing of records, the spokesperson added.

A written communication in this regard has been sent to all officers concerned including Special Secretaries, Senior Secretaries, Secretaries, Principal Secretaries to Ministers and Administrative Secretaries, the spokesperson said.
