In order to expedite the decision-making process, Delhi government has asked bureaucrats to forward the cabinet note with their comments within five days.
Earlier, there was no such deadline fixed for the bureaucrats on the cabinet notes.
"Government has directed all the officials to send their comments on the cabinet note pertaining to their departments within five days from the day of receiving the file," said a senior government official.
The official said that the move will ensure to expedite the decision-making process keeping in the mind the people's expectations from the government.
