Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone of a bridge across Zuari river in Goa on January 1.
Union Ministers Manohar Parrikar and Sripad Naik besides Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and his Cabinet colleagues will be present at the foundation-laying function, as per an official release issued here today.
The bridge will be an eight-lane cable-stayed structure across Zuari river.
Other projects for which foundation stones will be laid include Margao western national highway bypass for NH-17 and Canacona national highway bypass, the release added.
