Four Army personnel were today killed and eight others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned in Samba district here, police said.
The vehicle was on its way to Jammu from Kathua when it turned turtle near Jatwal chowk on the Jammu Pathankot National Highway, killing the four personnel on the spot, a police officer said.
He said eight army personnel injured in the accident have been admitted to the district hospital in Samba.
Local residents and police launched a rescue operation soon after the accident, he said, adding a case has been registered to investigate the cause of accident.
