Police today claimed to have busted a gang of gamblers with the arrest of four persons here.
The accused have been identified as Farkan, Gulfam, Shahjad and Sadab, aged between 25 and 32 years, officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted raids at a gambling den in Loni area late last night and arrested the four. Rs 1,250 stake money, playing cards were seized from their possession.
"Police got information that some persons were gambling in Loni area late on Tuesday night. A police team was sent there and the four gamblers were arrested," a senior police officer said.
They are being questioned about their accomplices and their hideouts, he added.
