Four arrested for impersonating as CBI officers

Four persons were arrested for allegedly impersonating as CBI inspectors and trying to fleece a restaurant owner, police said today.

The accused identified as Sarvan Tyagi, Deepak Tyagi, Ravinder Kumar and Deepak Arora were arrested last evening and fake identity cards were recovered from their possession, said SP Sarvan Kumar.

The were trying to extract money from a restaurant owner Dhara Singh, he said.

Two of the accused were students pursuing L.LB and MCA. Police is further investigating the issue, they said.
