Four persons, including a woman, were booked in the district in two cases for allegedly duping people by promising to send them abroad, police said today.
Hamid, a resident of Khandawali village here, has lodged a complaint, alleging that Delhi-based Aslam had taken money from him and others after promising to send them abroad, according to a police spokesperson.
But neither did he send them abroad nor return the money, he said.

In a separate incident, Sanjay Prasad, a resident of Sector 31, has lodged a complaint with the police that three persons, including a woman, had taken money from at least 40-45 people by promising to send them abroad.
He alleged that the accused-- Subhas, Renu and Ranjit-- used to run a company for carrying out the fraud.
