Four boys, aged between 10 and 15 years, drowned while two others went missing when they were taking bath in a quarry pit filled with rainwater at Viswanatham near here today.
Six boys had gone to take bath in the pit. But when they did not return, a friend who had accompanied them informed about it to the villagers, police said, adding that the locals managed to retrieve the bodies of four boys.
A police team along with fire service personnel is searching for the other two boys.
