Four candidates, including the BJP nominee from Kutch Lok Sabha seat, today filed their nomination papers in Gujarat, where polling will be held on April 30.
Today was the first day of filing nomination papers in the state, which has 26 Lok Sabha seats.
"BJP's Vinod Chavda from Kutch and RJD's Jagdish Patel from Banaskantha Lok Sabha constituency filed their nomination papers," Gujarat Chief Election Officer Anita Karwal said.

BJP has fielded party veteran L K Advani from Gandhinagar, while its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is contesting from Vadodara.
"No nomination paper was filed today for the seven Assembly seats where by-polls will be held simultaneously," she said.
The last date of filing nomination forms is April 9, while scrutiny will take place the next day. The last date of withdrawal of nominations is April 12.
