Four children from Palghar go missing

Four children, aged between eight and 11 years, went missing here with police launching a manhunt to find them.

The four children of Manor locality here went missing on October 7 while they playing in their locality near the Riddhi Siddhi Apartments in Manor, sub-inspector of Manor police station N G Sood told PTI.

Parents and locals tried to search the children but in vain and a registered a with police yesterday under IPC section 363 (punishment for kidnapping), he said.

One of the complainant, Santosh Verma, whose son also went missing along with three other children told police that they had come to Manor only two weeks back for some work.
 

The police gave the names of missing children as Gaurav Verma (8), Durga Ralakhan Sahu (13), Sumit Sahu (11) and Chhaya Ramchand Chauhan (11).
