Four die, one injured in road mishaps in Delhi

Ranjeet Mishra, hailing from Bhajanpura in northeast Delhi, died today afternoon after a Delhi police bus hit his bike from behind at New Usmanpur area here.

Neeraj Mishra, brother of the deceased, who riding pillion, was injured and is undergoing treatment at a hospital here, they said, adding constable Ram Niwas driving of the bus, has been arrested.

In another accident, 70-year-old Duli Chand from Narela village was crushed to death by an unknown vehicle at Kanjhawala in outer Delhi on Thursday night.

In the third incident, two motorcyclists -- Uma Shanakar and his friend Raju -- died after they were hit by a speeding truck at Alipur in outer Delhi yesterday night.
