Four members of a family were killed when their car and a truck collided in Devgaon area in the district, police said today.
The incident occurred last night near Chevar Purav village in Devgaon area here, when one Sehdev Yadav (68), his wife Indira (60), their two sons- Chhotelal (45) and Pritvipal (38) were killed in the accident while returning from Varanasi.
The car driver, who could not be identified, is seriously injured and has been rushed to a nearby hospital.
The truck driver fled from the spot, police said adding manhunt has been launched to nab him.
