Four members of a family were today killed when a car in which they were travelling collided with a tanker in Rajasthan's Tonk district, police said.
The mishap took place near Niwai when the victims were returning home in Jaipur from Tonk, SHO Niwai Phoolchand Meena said.
The deceased identified as Satyaprakash Vijay (30), wife Monika (28), cousin brother Rajesh (18) and one and a half year old son died on the spot, he said adding the tanker driver fled from the spot.
The bodies were handed over to their family members after postmortem, said police.
