Naval officials from
Arcattuthurai Naval base rescued four fishermen, who were stranded in the mid sea off Kodiakarai coast after their fishing boat developed snag early this morning.
Officials said the fishermen Napolean, Manoharan, Pakkirisamy and Prakash got stranted in the mid sea as the engine of their boat developed a snag.
When their boat started drifting and going out of control navalmen ruhsed to the spot and rescued them.
They had been brought to the coast, officials said.
