The foreign nationals-- identified as Muna Ramadan Rashid Saleh, Ahmed Ramadan Rashid Saleh, Naimeh Ramadan Rashid Saleh and Khaled Ramadan Rashid Saleh-- were arrested by the police in Kalibari area of Kathua district, police officials said.
They were involved in stealing ornaments from a jewellery shop at Kathua last night and a complaint was lodged by one Deepak Parkash in this connection with the police.
In the complaint, he had alleged that yesterday at about 1730 hours three foreign nationals, one man and two woman, visited his shop and requested him to show some gold ornaments for the purchase.
According to complainant, he displayed some gold ornaments. They selected one pendant and offered to pay the cost their currency, to which the complainant refused.
They left the shop with a promise to return with Indian currency. Soon after the foreign nationals left the shop, the complainant checked the ornament box and found that gold coin weighing around 06 grams was missing, which they had allegedly stolen.

A case was registered and a vehicle was intercepted at Kalibari Kathua in which four accused were travelling.
They were taken into custody. During frisking, gold ornaments weighting about 80.380 grams amounting to Rs 2,40,000 were recovered from their possession, police said.
The accused are in police custody, they said.
